Apac remains a resilient light in the face of global headwinds with the region set to lead global economic growth in 2023. Asia, and Thailand specifically, forecasts 3.0% to 3.5% real economic growth this year, a number boosted by the region's reopening and the potential of its local businesses. 

The International Monetary Fund upgraded its global economic growth forecast for the second time in three months, while warning about widening inequality and a divergence between advanced and lesser-developed economies.
